Our own Nikita will be participating in a summer REU for The Center for Sustainable Nanotechnology (CSN). The CSN is a multi-university collaboration focusing on investigating how nanoparticles interact with biological systems. Fundamental chemistry will be used to enable the development of nanotechnology in a sustainable manner.

He will be conducting research in Dr. Rigoberto Hernandez's lab at Johns Hopkins University. The research will center on using molecular dynamics calculations to investigate how nanoparticles interact with biological membranes. We hope that will give you great ideas and experiences in simulating our biosensors...
